AGA Competition Results 2008

Bucks Championships In & OOA

Gymnast India Weller in the Level 5 in age selection came 2nd overall with a total score of 44.10, in the Level 4 in age selection gymnast Hannah Roslyn also came 2nd overall with a total score of 43.85, In the Level 4 OOA selection gymnasts Abbey Winterburn, Dulcie Layton & Elisha came 2nd - 3rd & 4th overall with total scores of 46.60, 45.65 & 44.90, in the level 3 In age selection Gymnast Baonnie Adams-Downie came 1st on every piece and overall her total score was 48.375, in the level 3 OOA selection gymnasts Jessica Nappo, Gemma Carder & Eleanor Thompson came 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall with total scores of 46.40, 45.80 & 45.05, in the OOA level 3 senior group Alicia hulewicz came 1st overall and on Vault, Bars & Beam, in the Level 2 in age selection gymnasts Liane Yerby & Danielle Hubbard came 1st & 2nd on eaach piece and overall with a total score of 49.75 & 46.95, and in our last selection level 2 OOA senior Rebekah Routh took the glod on every piece and overall with a total score of 42.75.

Compulsory 5, 4 & 3

Gymnasts Katharine McKenna and India Weller took part in the Compulsory 5 Grades which this year was the first time it had ever been run, Katharine was crowned Compulsory 5 Champion while India came 5th overall.

In the Compulsory 4 Abbey Craven and Hanna Roslan both passed their grade and qualified for the National Final in May. Abbey was Crowned Compulsory 4 Champion while Hanna came 8th with a qualifying score to go to Nationals.

In the Compulsory 3 Danielle Hubbard, Marguerite Pope & Bonnie Adams-Downie all passed their Grade with Bonnie & Marguerite making part of the team for the National Final in May.

AGA travelled to Milton Keynes on 2nd March 08 to take part in the South Region Grades where all the gymnasts did AGA proud, AGA will also be sending four gymnasts to the National Final in Birmingham at the Cooks Moore Wood Leisure Centre.

AGA get good results at the County Grade 6 & 5 held at the Lynx Gymnastics Centre 1st March 2008.

The competition started at 5pm and finished around 8:20pm, all the gymnasts performed very well. Well Done to all for your achievements.
